The Menstrual Hygiene Project (MHP)

The sanitary wear project which focuses on collecting and purchasing of culturally appropriate and acceptable sanitary wear

The Handcrafts Project

We believe in communities that are willing to engage projects that abate dependency on aid, but rather promote local talent, skill and knowledge in generating income.

The Scholarship Project

This project will be subdivided into 6 different scholarships that will provide for uniforms, books, stationery and fees to girls who show exceptional talent academically.

The Barbara A Kalleberg Panty Project

Our first panty donation from Barbara A Kalleberg from PEO Scholarship Foundation in the United States

The Menstrual Hygiene Project (MHP)

This is subdivided into other subprojects

  1.  The sanitary wear project which focuses on collecting and purchasing of culturally appropriate and acceptable sanitary wear
  2. The Barbara. A. Kalleberg “Panty” Project- named after one of the PEO IPS sponsors from New York Chapter who helped raised funds for registration and gave the project its first pair of girl panties. She also gave it the name –the Panty Project. This project will focus on collecting comfortable and appropriate panties for the distribution with the sanitary project

In order to foster a sense of responsibility among the recipients of the MHP will each be given a tree to plant and nurture at home. This project will work closely with our other sister project called Environmental Buddies- founded by one of the IMPAKT/M.A.D members and focuses mainly on tree planting and environmental management.

The Handcrafts Project

We believe in communities that are willing to engage projects that abate dependency on aid, but rather promote local talent, skill and knowledge in generating income. Through the leadership and assistance of one of our team members who is talented in design and crafts making, we intend to extend this skill to women in impoverished communities so that they can engage in money-making projects.

The Scholarship Project

This project will be subdivided into 6 different scholarships that will provide for uniforms, books, stationery and fees to girls who show exceptional talent academically. The long term goal for this project would be to include boys from struggling families as well as consider other areas where children excel other than the academics.
